So I managed to get out today and have another play with my IR converted camera. It didn't bode too well when I left the house in my slippers and had to turn around to go home and change into something more comfortable.
Turns out that was a good idea.
See, it can get quite boggy down near the river, and I was totally unprepared to go right under with my foot as I stepped back from the bank.
It was worth it though!
Infra-red photography is my new passion. Well... that and a "gift" of an Epson Stylus Pro 4800 that a friend was going to chuck in a skip! Home printing is a lot of fun, and being able to see the physical result of a day out shooting is very rewarding.
So despite trashing my (admittedly old) trainers, it was nice to get out in the fresh air after a week behind a desk. No tripod, just the X-E1 with the 14mm lens and my X-T1 with the 27mm pancake. And I got one shot from each!
